Quarrying and Processing

The company Granit Zedníček s.r.o. deals with quarrying and processing of stone.

We extract the raw material:

  • In the Kamenná quarry – Třebíč region – deposit of reserved mineral – granodiorite – durbachite
  • In the Mrákotín quarry – Jihlava region – deposit of reserved mineral of granite – Mrákotínská žula (granite of Mrákotín)

In the Kamenná quarry we also process the extracted raw material in two production halls, which are equipped by stone-cutting machines.

Processed Materials

The company extracts and processes materials from their quarries.

It is the Kamenná and Mrákotín material, which is offered in the varieties Mrákotín yellow, Mrákotín grey, Mrákotín highlight (mixture of the Mrákotín yellow and grey materials).

Surface Working

Dia - on the cut by a diamond – it is a basic surface working, which arises during stone cutting

Jetted - jetted surface – arises by processing using steel dust or siliceous sand in the jet machine

Pemrlated

Sand- sand surface – arises by grinding of the stone by grinding materials with the texture up to "320"

Polish - polished surface – arises by grinding and polishing of the stone

Singe - singed surface – arises by sharp heating of the stone by a mixture of propane-butane and oxygen; it is possible to singe only the Kamenná material
